Students’ Council

Students’ Council is large group of students within the school. They meet every Wednesday in the presentation center to discuss upcoming events, fundraisers and new ideas. The group usually ranges from about seventy to one hundred students each year. Students’ Council is a great way to get involved in your school and meet lots of new people. Being a member means that you are the first to know about events or activities taking place both in the school and the community, it gives you the opportunity to volunteer and help out the people around you. Students’ Council is a judgment free environment in which you are able to express your ideas freely. Students’ Council deals with all of the other committees within the school. Members are able to help with dances, spirit events, community events and lots of other activities. Students’ Council also does fun days in school like dress up and activity days before Christmas break. One of Students’ Councils main objectives is giving back to the world and community; every year, Students’ Council donates thousands of dollars to different organizations and causes.
