Students’ Council Executive

Students’ Council Executive is made up of the Co-Heads of each committee in the school. Those committees are: Spirit, Dance, Grad Class, Communications, Community events, Interact, Environmental, Respect-ed/SADD, The talon, Winter Carnival, Oktoberfest, Art, International Buddies, Teen Health Center. The Co-heads meet with the Students’ Council Co-Presidents every second Friday at lunchtime. They make all of the key decisions about activities and fundraisers going on within the school. Any event that is going to take place or new club has to be approved by the executive as a group. They also make key decisions about funding and donations. At the end of every month the executive votes on Staff and Coach of the month. Executive members are pushed to their limits and gain extraordinary leadership skills along the way. Executive is not all work and no play, there are retreats hosted twice a year to give the executive a break and have some fun as a team. They are always looking for new ideas and proposals so never hesitate to ask!
